Registered Sex Offender Alert Public Service Announcement

T.O. Rusheon Middle School has posted photographs of those sex offenders who have registered with the school systems Central Office, located in Benton, Louisiana that are within the radius of the student homes we serve.  We ask that you visit with your student in the manner in which you are most comfortable about the danger which such persons may represent.  We also suggest that you visit the Louisiana State Police website at  www.lsp.org  This site contains a prominent link to an official sex offender registry which allows you to search for any offenders in your neighborhood.

This alert is not indicative of the families we do serve but as a mandated public service announcement by the Louisiana legislature ACT 2014 to alert our families and their students of the dangers that can be found in any neighborhood.
